CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Uma Devi Gavani, chairman of the nominating committee, hereby calls for the nominations to the following positions in the executive committee for 2010 – 2012 term.
Four Members for the Board of Trustees
President
–elect
Secretary
Treasurer
Six members for the Executive
Committee
As per our by laws, only Life Members are eligible for election as President-elect, Secretary, Treasurer and Trustees. Life members and duly registered Members- in Training are eligible for election as members of the Executive Committee. Only Life Members are eligible to vote in the election. Any alumnus of GMC can become a life member by paying one- time dues of $250. Please consider becoming a life member, if you have not already done so.
As a non-profit organization, GMCANA requires active
participation from its executive committee members including such activities
as fund rising, annual meeting planning, and over seeing various projects at
GMC/GGH.As a member of the Board, trustees are charged with ultimate residual
Fiscal authority as per the Articles of Incorporation, which gives it the
responsibility of oversight of the policy-making branches---the Governing Body
and the Executive Committee. This position needs experience and knowledge of
our organization.

Nominating committee will give their report at the annual general body meeting during 12th Biennial Reunion to be held in St.Louis, Mo on Sept 4th 2010. If necessary, an election will be conducted during the meeting.
