 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS:

In accordance with our by - laws, president elect, Nagarjuna Reddy Ponugoti has assumed the position of president of GMCANA for the reminder of term 2004-2006 as a result of the resignation of Tejanand Gowtham Mulpur.

Dr. Ravi Kumar Tripuraneni, chairman of the nominating committee here by calls for the nomination to the vacant position of president- elect to serve reminder of the term 2004-2006.

 Any alumnus of GMCANA who is a life member in good standing is eligible for a nomination. However, as a member of the leadership of a non profit organization, president elect should be able to devote significant amount of time to GMCANA in assisting the president in various activities. President - elect should have adequate computer knowledge to be able to communicate with other members. In accordance with the mission statement of GMCANA, president elect should be in communication with our local coordinators in Guntur and over see the various ongoing projects.

According to our by laws only life members are eligible for voting.  Any alumnus of GMC can become a life member by paying one time dues of $ 250. Please consider becoming a life member if you are not already one.

The nominating committee will give their report at the reunion and an election will be held, if necessary, at the General Body meeting to be held during 15^th TANA conference in Detroit on July 2^nd 2005.
