Obituary:
Pathan Mahaboob ( 65) passed away on February 22nd at his residence in Buffalo, NY after a brief illness. He is from 1965 batch of GMC and has been in US from 1977. He has been a practicing cardiologist. He is survived by his two children Razia Begum ( BA MD) and a son Masood ( BA).  He was very impressed by GMCANA activities and recently became Life Member of GMCANA. His daughter wants to sponsor some project at GMC/GGH in the name of his father.  Our sincere condolences to the family of Dr.Pathan.

One of his friends and classmate Dr. Krishnamurthy Pinnamaneni says:

“ Dr. Pathan Mahamood called me about a year ago, when he saw my name in GMCANA directory. He was a very affectionate friend and very simple minded guy. He talked to me at length about our days at GMC. I invited him to visit me in Phoenix and he assured me to do just that.

He always brought a fresh feeling of peace, affection and care to people around him, as I recall. My wife and I are very sorry to hear this. Our heart felt condolences to his family. Farewell, my good friend.

Two of our classmates, Enoc Prabhakar ( a good Christian) and Pathan (a good Muslim) are two great examples that smarts, honor and goodness come in all religions, colors and shapes. Both died prematurely.

Sun rises in east tomorrow too, as always. No one is indispensable or infallible. What matters is how one will be remembered by family and friends. Life goes on and world moves on for all.  Doesn't it?

Please send any of the Alumni news (along with pictures) so these news can be shared with our alumni and also post them in appropriate links in our website www.gmcana.org
